Ukyo

Ukyo Kuonji is another of Ranma's fiancées, and is known as the "cute" one. She is Ranma's childhood friend, and was engaged to Ranma when she was little by Genma and her father. Although Ranma was already engaged to one of the Tendo girls at the time, Genma agreed to the engagement anyway, when he learned that he could get their Okonomiyaki cart as a dowry.

Because she was abandoned by Genma and Ranma as a child, she denied her femininity, and began to dress as a boy. Perfecting her art, she trained, determined to enact revenge on Ranma and Genma for abandoning her.

She quickly changes her mind, however, when Ranma calls her "cute" after realizing she's a girl. Now, she considers herself the only fiancée truly capable of winning her Ran-Chan's heart. She would like Akane and Ryoga to get together so that Ranma will be free of the Tendo's once and for all; though all of her attempts ultimately fail.

Ukyo is a master of Martial Arts Okonomiyaki, and fights with a giant spatula attached to her back. Although she is in love with Ranma, he only sees her as a friend... though she had no doubt he will eventually (if he doesn't already) see her as more.
